U.S. Visas

This website provides you with basic information on the complex immigration laws, rules and procedures of the United States of America.

Generally, as a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States, you must first obtain a visa, either a nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent residence depending on the purpose of your travel.

Once you have identified the classification of the visa, you must then identify the category that will be most suited to your needs. Each classification contains specific visa categories. For each category there are rigid eligibility requirements. You will increase your chances of success if you can determine whether you qualify for, and fulfill the eligibility requirements of, the specific visa category before you submit your visa application.

Next, your application or petition must be accurately prepared and submitted with the required supporting documents, photographs that meet the government specifications, and applicable fees to the appropriate government agency. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the rejection of your application or petition, or unnecessary processing delays.

We hope the information we provide will enable you to familiarize yourself with the various visas and immigration options and how we can assist you in reaching your immigration objectives.

We look forward to assisting you in realizing your goals of visiting, working or permanently residing in the United States of America!
